About ME

I never thought I would become a professional counselor.
However, after 20 plus years as a pastor I was confronted with
the complex human needs of the people. I saw so many couples
dealing with marital issues, some of which stemmed from factors
outside and before the relationship.

I could only help with the spiritual aspect of things but human
beings are multi-faceted and I wanted to provide a more well
rounded support. To do this, I had to understand the psychological and emotional aspects of humanity and how we relate to each other. This led to me becoming a Marriage and family therapist as well as a licensed professional counselor.

With a research specialty in human sexuality, I also teach sex
education and help couples understand and overcome intimacy
issues in their relationships to help heighten their experience.
I am also a great abstinence coach and can work with people who
choose to abstain during their quest for a life partner.
